Ingredients

Ingredients for Beef Samosa Filling and Folding  recipe::

  • 2 lbs of lean ground beef Samosa sheets (store bought) check the video for more details
  • 2-3 tbsp of sunflower oil
  • 1 medium size onion sliced
  • 200 grams of chopped cilantro
  • 100 grams of chopped mint
  • 2 tsp of crushed garlic
  • 1 tsp of grated ginger
  • 1/2 tsp of turmeric powder
  • 1 -2 tsp of crushed chilies
  • 2 tsp of ground coriander
  • 1 tsp of ground cumin
  • 1 tsp of cumin seeds
  • 1 tsp of garam masala powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Oil for frying Stir
  • 3 tbsp of flour with a bit of water for closing the samosa as a glue

Method

Preparation of Beef Samosa Filling and Folding:

  1. Heat oil in a skillet on medium, add cumin seeds let saute for 10 seconds. Add ginger, garlic and onion let cook for a minute or two. Add all the spices mix well then add the ground beef, salt and pepper, using a wooden spoon break the meat and let cook for 5-7 minutes.
  2. Add about 1 cup of water cover and cook for 15 minutes or until done, add cilantro and mint mix well remove from heat and let cool completely.
  3. Cut the samosa sheet according to your choice and start shaping according to the video fill with the cook ground beef and then close tightly add the flour as a glue.
  4. Heat enough oil in pan when the oil gets really hot add the samosas to fry for about 2 minutes or until golden brown.
  5. Bon appetit, Beef Samosa is ready to eat.
