Ingredients
Ingredients for Bouyon bred sou sou ( chow chow soup) recipe:
- 1 onion
- Thyme
- 1/4 tsp Ginger paste
- 1/4 tsp Garlic paste
- 1 glass water
- baking soda
- Rice water (once rice is cooked do not strain the water keep it for soup)
Method
Preparation of Bouyon bred sou sou ( chow chow soup):
- In a pot warm 1 1/2 tbls oil
- Add slice onion, thyme, 1/4 tsp ginger paste, 1/4 tsp garlic paste fry for 2 mins
- then add 1 full glass tap water
- add pinch of baking soda, and the rice water bring to the boil
- add chayote shoot boil for 5 mins its done
- Bon appetit Bouyon bred sou sou ( chow chow soup) is ready to eat.
