Ingredients for Butter Naan (Bakery Style) Recipe:
3 cups (450g) of all purpose flour
3 tsp of instant yeast Salt to taste
3/4 cup of salted butter at room temperature
Warm water as needed at temperature 110 degrees
1 tbsp of Sesame seeds
1 egg wash
Method
Preparation of Butter Naan (Bakery Style) Recipe:
In a stand mixer bowl or just a regular large bowl add flour, salt, yeast and butter mix well, add water little by little knead the dough for 10 minutes by hand or 5 minutes in the stand mixer. Cover and let sit for 15 minutes.
Grease a large pizza pan or just a baking pan with butter, start opening the dough turn into a long log and start shaping the naan making sure to tighten the dough as you are shaping it and at the end pinch the edges according to the video.
Brush with egg wash and sprinkle with sesame seeds, let the dough rise uncover in the oven with the oven off for about 45 minutes to an hour or until double in size.
Remove from the oven and preheat the oven on 425 degree Fahrenheit and put the naan back in the oven bake for about 20 to 25 minutes or until golden brown.
