Ingredients
Ingredients for Cari sevrette ( dried shrimp) with moorli and with eddoes recipe:
2 medium Onions
2 medium tomato
2 tbsp green chilli
1 tbsp ginger paste
1 tbsp garlic paste Kasuri methi ( optional)
2 handful dried shrimp
1/2 tsp mustard seeds
1/2 tsp turmeric
1 tbsp curry powder Curry leaves
3 medium size round moorli
4 medium size Edoes (arouille)
Salt to taste
Method
Preparation of Cari sevrette ( dried shrimp) with moorli and with eddoes:
Soak dried shrimp, wash & fry well
Peel/cut into small pieces & wash moorli / Edoes.
Crush moorli on roche cari or mortar/pestle
Add oil to pan fry slice onion & mustard Add ginger & garlic paste
Add chopped green chilli
Add the rest of the spices & curry leaves,
add water little by little until oil separate from spices then add either moorli or Edoes ( muraye/arouille)
add water let cook about 15-20 mins.

***Whatever curry you chose to make, just make sure you prepare the same amount of ingredients. Normally we make curry with the very small arouille but this one is a bit bigger.
