Ingredients
- 1 chicken breasts cut into small-medium size
- 1tbs of light soya sauce
- Pepper
- 1 tsp of cornflour
- 1 and 1/2 cups of flour
- 1 tsp of baking powder
- 1 egg
- Cold water
- Salt and white pepper
- Oil for frying
Method
1. Set aside chicken pieces that have been marinated in pepper, soy sauce, and cornflour.
2. Combine flour, salt, white pepper, baking powder, and a lightly beaten egg in a mixing bowl.
3. Stir in the cold water to make a thick batter (Batter should be neither too thick nor too thin)
4. Toss the chicken pieces into the batter. Using a spoonful of batter, coat a piece of chicken.
5. Fry till golden brown in a medium heated oil.
