2 cups of granulated sugar
2 cups of water Few green cardamom
Method
Preparation of Jalebi (gateau Moutai) :
In a bowl mix in flour, semolina, instant yeast, food colour and plain yogurt add water to make a thick batter cover and let sit at room temperature for 6 - 8 hours.
In a saucepan bring together sugar, water, and cardamom to a boil for 10 minutes remove from heat and set aside.
Heat oil in a large pan, fill the batter in a pastry bag or a ketchup bottle and start shaping the Jalebi let fry for 2 -3 minutes flip them in between.
Remove and dip in the sugar syrup for half minute
Remove Jalebi and set them on a cookie rack to let excess syrup drop.
