Add the salt and allow to sit for 10-15 mins and strain and drain the excess water.
Divine the dried shrimp, clean any hydrates with hot boiling water.
Finely chop the shrimp and put aside.
In a large mixing bowl add the drained grated chayotes. Add the following ingredients soy sauce, ginger, fish sauce, spring onion, chopped shrimp and cornflour.
Mix well until cooperated.
Form the dumplings and place them in the steamer.
Allow to steam for 20-25 mins or until thoroughly cooked. Garnish with spring onion.
