Ingredients for Vindaye poisson thon (tuna) achari fish recipe:
Tuna fish (frozen)
360g Ground Black pepper
2 cups oil
1 Onion
2 tbsp Vinegar
1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
Mustard seeds
Fenugreek seeds
1tbsp each Ginger & garlic paste
Curry leaves (optional)
Green chilli
1/2 tsp Salt
Coriander for garnishing (optional)
Method
Preparation of Vindaye poisson thon (tuna) achari fish recipe:
Wash, drain & season fish with 1/2 tsp each turmeric powder, salt, black pepper & 2 tbsp vinegar let rest 30 mins
Slice onion & garlic soak in vinegar 15 mins.
Fry fish golden brown, mix all spices except onion & garlic that is soaking in vinegar, use same pot you fry the fish
add 5 tbsp oil on medium heat add little bit of slice onion & curry leave & all spices
fry for 2-3 mins then add fried fish, simmer for 2 mins then add the onion & garlic soaked in Vinegar, sauteed for 2 mins, turn off heat add vinegar coriander & green chilli stir well & serve.
