650 grams of grated cheese mozzarella or white cheddar
200 grams of ground cream crackers

150 grams of chopped parsley
1 tbsp of fresh thyme
1 medium sized onion finely sliced
500 ml of whole milk (liquid)
2 large eggs
3/4 cup of butter
Method
Preparation of World's Best Gratin Macaroni:
In a large pot Bring water to boil add a generous amount of salt and boil the pasta 10 percent less according to the package drain and set aside.
In the same pot add butter, let melt. Add the onion let saute until light brown. Add the chopped parsley and the fresh thyme let saute for another minute.
Separate one egg yolk and beat into the milk and beat the rest of the eggs onto a plate by adding a bit of salt and pepper and set aside.
Pour the milk into the pot keep stirring, add a handful amount of the grated cheese, let melt then add the boiled pasta mix them all together until all the liquid has dried.
Grease a baking dish with butter add a layer of macaroni following with a layer of beaten eggs, grated cheese and ground crackers keep repeating the same process until done using your hand press the macaroni slightly bake in a preheated oven of 350 degrees for 15 minutes.
